My knitting patterns are available to download below for free. If you’re able, please make a donation to a charity of your choice — I like The Audre Lorde Project, King County Equity Now, and Black Visions Collective.
If you knit them, share them and tag me on Instagram - I’d love to see what you make!

Free Range Cables Cowl

This pattern is one size, a triangular cowl that is knit flat and seamed together after blocking. A simple cable pattern goes down one edge.

I found this skein of Blue Moon Fiber yarn on a family vacation and thought for a long while about what to make with it. I love the way the garter stitch shows off the colorway and the way the cable travels down the side to add a bit of intrigue. I’ve always wanted to make a triangular cowl, and this is the perfect cozy piece to welcome fall!

Yarn:
Approx. 550-600 yards (210 grams) DK weight yarn

Needles:
Size 7 (4.5 mm) circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
Cable needle, tapestry needle

Finished dimensions:
Approx. 29” circumference around the neck and 24” from bottom of triangle to neck

Mountains and Valleys Scarf

This pattern reminds me of a trip I took through the Welsh countryside, driving through a series of mountains and valleys. When I saw the colors in this Wollmeise skein, I couldn’t help but make a pattern out of it!

This scarf is one size and can be made larger or smaller with different needles or yarn weight.

Materials needed:
At least 550 yards of fingering weight yarn
Size 1.5 (2.5mm) needles
